BIK projects

BIK = Beroepskunstenaars in de klas. Een eenjarige parttime opleiding waarbij je kunstprojecten/workshops ontwikkeld en uitvoerd binnen het basisonderwijs. Een drietal kunstworkshops heb ik klaarliggen en ook een aantal nieuwe ontwikkeld. Hieronder vind je informatie over een aantal van deze workshops...

 BIK = artists in schools. Artists developing workshops for the children age 6 till 12. I developed three workshops: one that is about the old believes, told from mythological stories, about sacred trees, Amulets, belief from the north american indians like the dreamcatcher and the totem animal. And the dreamtime from the Aborignal culture in Australia.

A workshop told from the story "The ship that found herself" from R. Kipling. The children hear about al the things on the ship that speak to each other. Imagine that Things like wood or a wheel or nails can speak!!

A workshop told from the story "To the centre of the world" from J. Verne. The children find secred signs and strange monsters and how they can make an abstract painting telling this story in signs invented themselves!!

Het landschap verteld…Aboriginals zijn heel erg verbonden met de natuur.
Zij lopen door het landschap en vormen symbolen die in een landkaartachtige schildering tevoorschijn komen. Hierbij gebruiken zij hun typische manier om puntjes en streepjes weer te geven in hun werk.
Dit gaan de leerlingen ook doen met hun reis.
De reis die ze elke dag afleggen van huis naar school, een fantasiereis of andere reis die nog diep in het geheugen ligt. De leerlingen beginnen met een tekening die er ook als een landkaart uit gaat zien, vol met symbolen.
Ze ontdekken hoe ze zich de beeldtaal van een vreemde cultuur eigen kunnen maken.
 
Dit is een workshop voor de midden- en bovenbouw.
Het bestaat uit 3 lessen elk van 1,5 uur
 
 The landscape is telling ... Aboriginal people are very connected to nature. They walk through the landscape and form symbols used as a map. like painting. In doing so, they use their typical way to dots and dashes to display in their work.
The students also do this with their travel.The journey that they take every day from home to school. The students start with a drawing that there also as a map will look like, full of symbols.
They discover how they are the picture language of a foreign culture
